Camera shy

Had an ugly scratch on my forehead last Friday, so when mummy wanted to take a photo of me, I pushed away. See below.

No pictures please!

In the end, I gave in. :)

Diarrhoea? :O

Mummy and Daddy are wondering if I am having diarrhoea, coz I have been poo-ing twice a day since last Thursday. They are not very used to it.

First bath in the bathtub

Today I had my first bath in the bathtub with my daddy, but daddy is too shy to have his photograph taken. :P It was so nice and warm, just that I had a scare at first because mummy was feeding my half-way and I "refused". And the next thing I know is, I was stripped naked and dipped into warm water.

Only taken a picture of the hippo that was given by my Yi-Ma(姨妈) to play in the bathtub which also acts as a temperature gauge. Thank you Yi-Ma(姨妈)

"Terrorist"

Mummy thought that after I pooed in the morning yesterday, I won't be doing it again for the day. So she decided to put on Fuzzi Bunz(new generation cloth diaper) during the evening diaper change. And... immediately after I was changed and carried, there I go... "Platt", "Platt", "Platt". It was nice and comfy, simply irresitable.

Naughty Naughty

Mummy scolded me a naughty boy this morning, because she fed me so much last night and yet I woke her up just after 4 hours of sleep. I didn't poo poo yesterday but I'm doing it now.

Playing with my toys

I'm starting to learn to play with my toys. Look how happy I am.

"Guinness" Record

I slept from 11.40pm to 6.15am, a record time of >6hours so far. Daddy and Mummy are so proud of me, and they also had a good sleep. It's the third day now after my Sunday poo, wonder if I'll do it. hahaha

Yesterday my aunty told me that she'll show the blog to my grandparents, so I'll write something in chinese here.

公公和婆婆,你们好吗?好期待你们四月份的时候过来,我们可以一起出去玩。祝你们身体健康,万事如意。

Learning to crawl

I'm learning to crawl... but efforts are futile. *sob sob* wuuuuaaaaaaaa waaaauuuuuuu

5 hours of sleep

I can sleep for a stretch of 5 hours now, though I woke up occassionally because of tummy pains.

Uncle Leonard(Mummy's ex-colleague in Singapore) wrote about me in The Chongs blog yesterday, but he thought I was 4 months old instead of 3. I look big for my age. :P (Baby Antanas' Blog)

To answer Uncle Leonard's doubt about me being clogged, it's more of the case that I'm very effective in my digestion and hence there's nothing left. ;D I'm growing and gaining so fast that mummy is suffering from body aches by looking after me 24 hours a day every day.

To share my family photo taken on a frozen lake. It was so nice and cool, so I was sleeping very soundly.

Also a photo of the uncle who took our family photos... :D

Proof

Some people did not believe that I could write this blog, so I have to ask mummy to take some pictures to show them as proof. Can you see how much fun I'm having? ;)

Don't forget that you can always click on the image to get a clearer picture of me and my smiling face.

Sharing my early days' photos

Am I cute?

My daddy, mummy and me :D

See how much I've grown...

Great Achievements!

Yippie! I did it... I managed to sleep for at least 4 hours through the night since my 3rd month. It's been 2 days now. Now my mummy can get slightly more rest, though she still needs to wake up around 4-5am to feed me. :)

Another achievement was mummy/daddy managed to eat out at a restaurant for the first time since I was born. We all went out to pick up mummy's friend from the Munich city and went to eat in an asian restaurant serving buffet with "teppanyaki". The food wasn't very nice according to them, but at least it was a nice outing. I was an extremely well-behaved boy. My parents called me a show-off especially when there are guests around. ;P

Today is a bright and sunny day, very rare. We went for a short walk to the nearby Garchinger See(lake) after lunch.

Hot from the oven... taken just before going out for the walk.

And... after such a wonderful day, I created a big mess for my mummy. Oops.. it waas an unexpected big messy poo just 15 minutes after she changed my diapers. I'm such a good boy right? :D

My 12th week

Today marks the 12th week since I arrived into this beautiful world. My mummy decided to commemorate it by starting a blog for me.

I was born on 25th November at 2334, just 26 minutes short of having the same birthday as my daddy. :( The last 3 months had not been easy for us especially my parents as I was having one problem after another or multiple at times.

My mummy had to stayed in the hospital longer than required because my jaundice level was too high. And being born during winter in Germany didn't help as there's hardly any suntanning to be done. Alas, it was kept under control after the 8th day and we could all go home.

The most sticky problem which still exists until today is the wind in the tummy, so frustrating and painful. It gave us many sleepless nights, tons of noise pollution, and lost barrels of tears. Hopefully, it'll get better and we can all have a good night's rest soon.

Another problem linked to this is getting rid of body waste. I'm outside of the norm as breastfed babies are supposed to pass motion very often. It started with every 6th day, and got daddy/mummy really worried as the tummy gets so bloated, coupled with the "windy" problem. Alas, my digestive system started to behave and it became every 5th day, but still my parents are very worried. Now, my "schedule" is every Tuesday and every Friday, every 3-4 days. Since it's more predictable, daddy/mummy is less worried.

The biggest and most worrying problem must be my navel. We are all very glad that it is nice and beautiful now. :D Babies' navels are usually dry and clean after 2 weeks, mine was still oozing wet after 1 month. My parents got very worried and had to "summon" the midwife to come by even on Christmas eve. After the Christmas holidays, it was a frantic schedule shuttling to and fro to the clinics and hospital. The doctor at the local clinic was so sloppy that he aggravated the problem and caused me skin inflammation. He then sent us to the hospital to have an operation as he insisted that the problem will not go away on its own. When the doctors at the hospital first saw my tummy, it was all red. They got worried and said it could be inflamed. Lucky for me, my daddy insisted that it was just the skin outside and not the inside. It gave all of us a scare as we do not want to have an operation and do not want to spend new year in the hospital. So we returned to hospital the next day and it got better. I was under constant monitoring over the next 2 weeks. Phew! My navel is wonderful now because of my relentless and caring parents. I'm rewarding them now with my beautiful smiles and laughters.

Here's my family photo... finally taken after my "uncle" came to visit us.
