Merry X'mas & Happy New Year

Hope everyone had a very merry christmas. Time flies and it will soon be 2008. Daddy brought me shopping in Klaipeda and bought a "Rudolf" for me.
*Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way. Oh what fun it is to ride in a one horse open sleigh... hey!"

"Rocker"

I see that my brother has been posting while I am away from home. I have been playing with his "rocker" when he is not in it. It is suitable for kids up to 15kg. It is very fun, and Mummy will sing "Rock-a-bye-baby" when I rock in it. ;) I will also help to rock my brother when Mummy is busy. Mummy said we are brothers so we must share(like barney too).

Virgin post

My first posting.... to keep everyone busy reading while my brother is at Kindergarten. Mummy thinks it is better for us to share a blog so that relatives and friends like you only need to visit one website.

Since my brother has posted the pictures, here's a video of me. Enjoy!

The kindergarten is having a birthday party for my brother. These are some of the photos shared.

Double Happiness

I am 2 years old and my brother is 2 months old, in addition to my Daddy's birthday tomorrow. There is no birthday party for me this year since I am sick. My parents do not want to spread the virus to other children.

Pardon for my messy hair as I got my present immediately out of bed. :D Can you see what it is? It is a Ferrari. ;P Daddy built a "Megablock garage" for it too.

Mummy also took some time to make some bakes, but has no time for decoration.
Upside-down banana cake

Chocolate cupcake... there is also a "goodie" hidden inside the cupcake. ;)

Jonas and us

I am very sick. :( No appetite to eat and cannot sleep. Weather has not been good too as it has been snowing heavily. My parents decided to let me have a break from Kindergarten today until I get better.

It has been individual photos so far, but we finally managed to take some "family" photos with my little brother. Do you still think we look like twins? :P Less people are saying with lookalike now.

Kindergarten

I have started attending Kindergarten since 5 Nov, it is the second week now. The first week was fun as it was only for 2-3hours. I did not have any "nap nap" yesterday as the mattress is so small and unfamiliar. I waited and waited for Mummy to pick me up but she did not appear until 4.45pm yesterday. Mummy could hear me crying from afar, but she still did not bring me home until very late. The reason is it was "Laternenfest"(lantern festival) yesterday. I love the "Kinderpunsch" the most though. I was very cranky but Mummy still managed to take a few photos of me holding the lantern.

My "raincoat" for playing in the Kindergarten's garden.

Lots to update...

So much has happened in the last week that we are all overwhelmed and has no time to update. Mummy just went to apply Singapore citizenship for Jonas and I have also started Kindergarten since 5 Nov 2007. The Kindergarten here is more like childcare, and so far, my parents has been accompanying me for the 2-3 hours that I am spending there. I am slowly adjusting to the place because I am so afraid that my parents will just dump me there. I cried the minute we reached the place even before entering for the second time(first time was for the preview, which I cried too). There are lots of kids around the same age as me whom I play and eat with. My parents are intending to have me in the kindergarten for the whole day from the time Daddy goes to work until 7pm.

Jonas also just went for his 6 weeks' checkup today, and guess how big he has grown. Mummy got a shock when she saw the weighing scale. My parents thought Jonas was only around 5.5kg, but he is now 6.3kg and 58cm. He is such a big boy that the doctor said he looks like a 3 months old baby. He is also outgrowing his clothes very quickly.

Twin brother

Guess what? I have a "twin" brother....

My "twin" brother was born on 25 Sep 2007, weighing 3970g. He has been keeping my Mummy so busy that I hardly get to see her anymore. Luckily Gonggong and PorPor are here to play with me. More updates about my brother when he sleeps less.

Fun time!

Gong Gong and Por Por are in town! More people to play with me and yummy delicious food. Oops... better don't let Mummy see this.... heehee

Daddy drove us to Leopoldsberg yesterday and we had a very delicious lunch there. Beautiful scenery and view of Vienna and the Danube River from the top. Glorious weather since they arrived too, and I can go out to run about every day. :D

No more milk!

My parents are scratching their heads over my sudden decision to give up on the milk bottle yesterday. I won't even open my mouth to take a sip from the milk bottle at all. In actual fact, I am not taking any milk from any cup, bottle, straw etc. Daddy tried giving me sweet chocolate milk but only slightly successful too. I only want to take it from a spoon and only 100ml. So Mummy is really concerned about offering alternatives to me now. Mummy is also hoping that it is just a passing phase.

Hardworking? ;)

See how hardworking I have been... reading till I fell asleep. Daddy said I am just like him during lectures.... hahaha

Lousy weather...

Autumn is here, it has been raining non-stop for a few days already. It is no fun going out at all, cold, windy and wet. I hope Mr. Sun will come out to play with me again.

Oh Mr. Sun Sun, Mr. Golden Sun,
Please shine down on me.....

Shopping weekend

We had a very nice shopping experience the last weekend, we went to 2 new places. My parents said that I was like a typical tourist, so excited that I won't sleep at all even in the 1+hr car ride.

On Saturday, we went to a newly opened shopping centre in Vienna called Stadion Center. Lots of freebies like balloons and ice-cream...*yum yum* Though there were lots of big scary mascots too.

On Sunday, we drove to a shopping area near the Austrian/Czech border. My first time in Czech Republic, the scenery along the sights were so beautiful that I had to try so far to keep my eyes opened. We visited a wax figure exhibition there too but my parents commented that they don't like the real people at all. And guess what? Daddy was the driver, especially for "long-distance" trips like this. :P

Summer retreat

Finally we managed to go on a short summer retreat to a nearby lake. Although it was just a short 3D2N, we had lots of fun especially me. We get "soaked" in water all day long, and water is my favourite "toy". The swans are beautiful but scary when they try to bite. I love the water slides, my parents are surprised that I still struggle to queue up for it even when I am shivering.

How do you like this photo of me and my Daddy?
