Hello China!

Time flies, cannot believe it that I am already one year old.

After a mad rush of flights' hopping, we are finally in Lijiang now. We'll be stopping over in Shanghai first before returning to Singapore. Lijiang is a beautiful village, you'll have to come and see for yourself. Simply gorgeous and no words can be used to describe. Hopefully we'll be able to take and share some photos later.

The past few days have been a "nightmare", as my parents were busy preparing for the birthdays' party as well as the trip. Alas, the birthday party was a great success with lots of food and gifts. Thank you to all the Uncles and Aunties, I'll definitely enjoy the presents when we return to Vienna. The food prepared by Mummy was simply delicious according to all the Uncles and Aunties, I only got to try the cakes. No photos to share until we return home except the one below of Daddy and me enjoying the brownie cake.

Also, I did an amazing task today. There is no bathtub in this hotel that we are staying, so Mummy can only give me a shower. It is the first time I was "bathed" standing, pretty cool in every sense. :P I cannot stand on my own yet, so I lean against the wall for support.

Busy times

Sorry folks... Mummy is very busy and has no time to lend me her laptop. She is preparing for our trips as well as our birthdays' party. So till we can take a breather, no photos.

Snowing...

The snowing season starts today.... brrrrr.... very cold. But the flying snowflakes look very beautiful when I look out through the window, without shivering in the cold wind. ^_^

11 months old...

Time flies... I am already 11 months today and the weather is great.

Daddy says it feels like summer again, though it will be winter soon. Still very busy exploring the place, no time for pictures. Will update later but then we may be in Singapore by then and busy busy entertaining again.... So be patient till my 1 year mark.... hahahaha

Mummy's laptop

I simply love it and climbing all over it so that Mummy cannot use it. Strange though that I always see myself in it, it is like a mirror. :P

Sorry for not updating for quite a while, have been really busy exploring the new place. :D

Just wanna share something cool with those who are still reading. Mummy was thinking of giving me a nice warm bath two days ago, and suddenly she saw something floating in the water. Hahahaha.... yeah, I poo-ed. But that's the one and only piece, sorry for being so digusting. Isn't it cool? ;)

I ended up getting a shower instead, and lucky Daddy was around to help Mummy.

I also tried the slide in the courtyard/playground downstairs for the first time yesterday. Boy, was it superb... Couldn't get enough of it, but Mummy said the wind was getting too chilly and we went home. Never mind, guess I'll have plenty of chances again.

10 months old!

I am 10 months old today and guess what? I am finally going to have some teeth... hahaha

But the weather has been pretty windy and I am down with running nose and cough again.

Gabriel and family came by Vienna last week, we had a great time together. We went to visit many interesting places. Thank you Aunty Bih Ye for the delicious meals.

Update on our new home is the kitchen is finally going to be done by this week. Daddy and Mummy will then start to work on other areas of our new home. So no pictures until our new home is done up nicely and we can all relax comfortably.

My new trick ;)

Starting from Wednesday, out of no reason, I just love sticking out my tongue. Mummy is not sure whether to laugh or to be angry. Reason : I look so funny and ugly at the same time, and I will not stop doing it.

But Mummy kept everything that can be grabbed, so I don't like the black " suuport" anymore. Besides, I fell down quite badly once and got a little bruise on my face which is still recovering.

My first sweet

My first sweet was given to me by this nice lady who works in the pizzeria where Mummy went to have lunch with her ex-colleagues on Wednesday. I was mesmerized for a moment allowing her to carry me, I started screaming when the "novelty" of the sweet was gone. :P


Another picture is of me on all fours. Mummy realized she did not take any picture of me crawling.

We are moving...

My parents are busy with housing stuff in both locations. Weekends are spent shopping and packing. Look, I'm helping too. :D

My new "chair"

Guess what it is? I have only tried it once and the floor was flooded. Driving Mummy crazy as I refused to sit in it to poo, I need to crawl all over the living room to do it. heeheee

Happy National Day!

Happy Birthday Singapore! My Mummy specially dressed me up in the national colours today. Too bad, I won't be able to see the fireworks up in the sky.

The pictures are of me in my new "Play n Relax". My parents specially bought it for me because they are so worried of my "head banging" in the cot. I already have a few bruises and cuts. Maybe I'll really grow up to be a rock star. :P

Wien

We went to Vienna last week to look for our future home. It was the first train ride and the first time in Vienna for me. (Not counting the time when Mummy was carrying me in her tummy. :P) It was so fun that Mummy and Daddy had a hard time trying to put me to sleep so that they can get some rest. I only fell asleep when we were almost there. Also the train was delayed and we reached Vienna one hour later than expected. See how much fun I had on the train and in my Daddy's temporary office.

Greetings from Vienna!

It was such a tiring trip, but we made it. It is the first time for me to be on Die Bahn(DB). Beautiful scenary and we had the whole compartment to ourselves. The bad thing was the train started late and we reached Vienna almost one hour later than the estimated time. It was close to midnight when we check-in to the hotel. My parents hardly catch any winks.

Lucky for me, I could still take some day-time naps. It was a frantic morning to visit two potential apartments for our future home. The third appointment had to be cancelled because the agent rent out the apartment which he promised to keep, made my Daddy so mad. My parents like the second apartment that we visited, will have to see how it goes. Stay tuned!

Cool day...

It's finally a cool day today, but Mummy could not get me to smile for the camera. Don't I just look cool? I'm sitting on my numbers mat which I like to "chew" on every day. :D

Favourite plaything in Singapore

Guess what? It is my Cousin Denise's skate skooter, because it allows me to wander around the home in a breeze. :D

By the way, I am 8 months old today. :D Time flies, I am expert at sitting now and likes to chase my Mummy when she decides to get away from me. Mummy always have to look out for me because I put everything I can grab into my mouth. heehee

Swimming in the lake

We have been going to the lake almost every day since we return home. The weather is so nice that we just want to lie down by the lake.

Daddy shared his cucumber with me while he was talking with my grandparents. They all enjoyed laughing at me struggling to bite at the cucumber. It is sweet and juicy, yummy!

Home Sweet Home

We have finally come back home after a hot and tiring flight. Hot because we had a stopover in Dubai for one night, the temperature reached 41 degrees as we left for the airport. Dubai is very dusty/sandy because a lot of construction is happening now. We went on the big bus tour because it is simply too hot to walk and taking taxi is expensive. The bus is not air-conditioned so we were sweating like crazy. Lucky for me, I had the baby fan blowing and entertaining me. My Daddy and Mummy are busy absorbing the Dubai sights while I am simply amazed by the tour guide's microphone. :D

We had a lazy day yesterday because I woke my parents up at 6am. After doing grocery shopping and fixing of my "new" bed, we went to the lake to enjoy the evening sun and water. The bed is "new" because it needs to be lowered(I have grown much taller) plus I have a new bedding to cushion my "heading" against the bed. I don't like the "new" bed, seems like being in a cage. :( I enjoyed the lake very much though, beautiful sunshine, soft grass and lots of people having a splashing time in the cool waters. Mummy is aching a little from the tiny bit of swimming she had because it has been a long time since she last swam.
